Pinewood Studios creates Data Centre to offer Hosting Facilities
Pinewood Studios Group, the leading provider of studio services to the worldwide film and TV industries, has built an on-site data centre to offer tailor-made hosting services.
Pinewood’s data centre provides a secure and controlled environment for companies to store their own web/mail servers and render farms, with server requirements scaled according to client’s needs. Operated by a secure swipe system, each company will be given a unique code to access their own equipment, locked within the server racks. Bandwidth and networking services are supplied by Sohonet, with dedicated internet backup, fire suppression and generators for the facility.
